Trying to get a clear answer to the origin of Bris-Vegas is harder than finding Carmen Sandiego. Suggestions range from an ironic play on its less than roaring nightlife, an Elvis tribute CD released in 1994, and the transformation of an old building in the heart of the city being turned in to a casino.
