Ned Kelly was the original outlaw convict, not like the singer Akon – gosh I hate how he always sings about being a convict – Ned was a real outlaw. It seems like he was a real free spirit that just couldn’t be hemmed in... Dubbed a ‘juvenile bushranger’ at the ripe old age of 14 (albeit after beating up a Chinese farmer); you could say Ned was born in to being a bit of a pirate of the bush. In 1870 he was alleged to have been in a dispute with a local named Jeremiah McCormack – Jeremiah is a great name, I’m not sure why it sounds so old, but I’ve never met a baby named Jeremiah – and as way of settling the dispute he sent Jezza’s wife a note accompanied with a calves testicle. That’s how you get it done. It doesn’t really matter if you think of him as merely a killer or a folk hero Aussie Battler; this t-shirt is for you.
